Why is the Hebrew Year 5777 (2017) so important?

This is the year 5777 in the Hebrew Calendar.
What do these three sevens mean?

The number 777 is the Biblical reference for the last day of creation. It is also a reference to the genealogy of Jesus who is the Son of God.

The number represents both completion and perfection. It is a number that represents God and is considered God's number.  It appears hundreds of times in the Bible.

In reference to Jesus, He is the Word of God.  When God created the world, He did it through the Word, Jesus His Son. It is an Alpha, Omega number.

  • The 777 number represents the seven days of creation.
  • The number represents Jesus' completion of change from the six natures of man to the perfection achieved through His Life, Teachings, Death and Resurrection.
  • The 777 number represents the completion or cause-and-effect chain of events that Jesus brought to man from his birth until the end of time.
